HB 1240, relating to information required to be provided to parents of an infant, reported favorably out of committee 3/17/2009

HB 1240, authored by Representative Villareal, amends the Texas Health and Safety Code to mandate that, in addition to the resource pamphlet, new parents be given a resource guide on the health, safety, and development of a child from birth to age five.

HB 1240 was reported favorably out of the House Committee on Public Health.
