HB 862, relating to eligibility for the child health plan, filed 1/29/2009

HB 862, authored by Representative Naishtat, amends the Texas Health and Safety Code to reestablish eligibility for enrollment at 300 percent of federal poverty level. Further establishes criteria for enrollment of ineligible children in families who do not meet the requirements because of family income above the established threshold.
