SB 648, relating to the right of a parent of a child enrolled in special education to take time off work to meet with school personnel, filed 2/3/2009

SB 648, authored by Senator Van de Putte, amends the Texas Labor Code to establish the rights of a parent guaranteeing leave time when meeting with persons involved in the care and education of a child enrolled in a special education program. Companion to HB 615 by Turner.
