HB 18, the creation of an anti-bullying hotline, filed 11/10/2008

HB 18, authored by Representative Leibowitz, amends the Texas Human Resources Code to authorize the expansion of the Texas Abuse/Neglect Hotline to include a system for reporting incidents of bullying against primary and secondary school students, initiatives to raise awareness of students and others about bullying, procedures for reporting to school officials and law enforcement (when appropriate).
