HB 615, relating to the right of an employee who is a parent of a child enrolled in a special education program to time off from work to meet with certain persons affecting the education of the child.

HB 615, authored by Representative Sylvester Turner, amends the Texas Labor Code to establish the rights of a parent guaranteeing leave time when meeting with persons involved in the care and education of a child enrolled in a special education program.
