SB 90, relating to adoption of the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children, filed 11/10/2008

SB 90, authored by Senator Van de Putte, amends the Texas Education Code to adopt the provisions of the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children related to enrollment in and removal from school settings, record transfers and protection of students in military families. Companion to HB 174 introduced by King.
