HB 262, relating to information regarding the citizenship status of students, filed 11/17/2008

HB 262, authored by Representative Berman, amends the Texas Education Code and authorizes the State Board of education to implement a program documenting the nationality of each newly enrolled student, collect and analyze data from the enrollment process and submit an annual report that details the results of the analysis to the Board of Education.
