HB 1005, relating to the ability of an employee to participate in certain school related activities of the employee's child, filed 2/3/2009

HB 1005, authored by Representative McLendon, amends the Texas Labor Code and establishes guidelines for a parent to be absent from a place of employment to attend school functions for a child who is a legal dependent of the employee. Companion to SB 649 by Van de Putte.
