HB 504, authored by Representative Lois Kolkorst amends the Texas Education Code to add Section 37.127 creates and describes the criteria for an offense holding the parents of a child accountable for failure to comply with sentencing or court orders related to criminal behaviors by their minor child defined under TEC Sections 37.123, 37.124, and 37.126.
